SAPULPA, OK -- A Sapulpa soldier accused of dragging a dog behind an SUV has pleaded not guilty to 3 counts of animal abuse in Creek County District Court.
20-year old Cody Hahn was arrested after witnesses say he tied a dog to the back of a vehicle in October and started driving.

The dog, named Sammy, suffered life-threatening injuries. Sammy is now doing much better and has since been adopted.
Hahn's attorney maintains his client did nothing wrong.
