UNDATED -- Rain, sleet and snow can't stop the postman and neither can the recession. However, due to tough economic times, the U.S. Postal Service will have to scale back.
The USPS reported a 5% drop in mail volume last year.
So, now it's looking over routes in Tulsa and across the country to see which ones it can change in order to cut costs.
The USPS says the changes may be minor in some cases, like a difference in delivery times, but will help them save in the long run.
The route reviews began last month and should be completed by the end of February.
