Educators Honor King Legacy In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Educators from six universities collaborated to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior, on Friday.

They also honored their own employees who have continued to educate Oklahomans in the spirit of Dr. King's legacy.  Friday was the first ever awards ceremony for the group, formed by the Tulsa-area campuses of OU, OSU, NSU, Langston, TCC and ORU.

The group hopes to continue highlighting local educators' efforts to make the Tulsa-area more diverse.
