Locust Grove Students Return From Inauguration

TULSA, OK -- After traveling over 1,200 miles to see President Barak Obama's inauguration, a group of Oklahoma students are back home.

Students from Locust Grove Middle School came back on two seperate flights late Wednesday and early Thursday.

The group was among the millions of spectators attending the inauguration this week in Washington, D.C.

Students were met with cheers and applause at the Tulsa International Airport as they got off the plane.

The students said the trip was really the experience of a lifetime.

"It was really fun. It was cool to see Biden and Biden sworn in and Obama sworn in. It was just really crowded and cold, but it was worth it," said student Ashley French.

The students spent some time sightseeing around the nation's capitol.

A few were even lucky enough to get tickets to the Camelot Ball the night of the inauguration.
