NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- The University of Oklahoma will open the 2009 football season with a game against Brigham Young at the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Sooners released the official schedule Thursday.
The season-opener is September 5 against BYU followed by home games against Idaho State and Tulsa before an off week.
OU goes to Miami for an October 3 game with the Big 12 opener the next week at home against Baylor then the annual Texas game at Dallas.
The Sooners are then at Kansas, at home against Kansas State, at Nebraska, at home against Texas A&M, at Texas Tech then the regular season finale at home against Oklahoma State.
The Big 12 championship game will be December 5 in Arlington.
