TULSA, OK -- The City of Tulsa's new downtown office space is officially City Hall at One Technology Center.
The city held a big dedication ceremony on Thursday morning at 2nd and Cincinnati. City offices began moving from several buildings to the single location last summer. Now, about a thousand city employees work at One Technology Center.
One city councilor tied the building's recognizable exterior to his vision for progress inside.
"I would propose that we would make that a symbol of clarity or transparency for city governance. And as we move forward, that the glass outside of this building be identical to the availability of the citizens to know about their government and know what's going on," said Tulsa City Councilor John Eagleton.
After the dedication, all city offices opened for public tours.
