TAHLEQUAH, OK -- The Tulsa area Red Cross is helping 25 people who have been displaced after an apartment fire in Tahlequah.
Nellie Kelly with the American Red Cross says 12 units at Northbrook Apartments were heavily damaged in the fire that broke out on Sunday afternoon.
Five volunteers with the Red Cross were on the scene. They're helping those displaced with financial assistance for food, clothing, coats and a place to stay.
Kelly says some of those displaced are Northeastern State University students who will relocate to the dorms. The others will be moved within the complex.
No injuries were reported.
