United Airlines Reconnecting Tulsa With LAX

TULSA, OK -- United Airlines will reinstate its daily non-stop flight between Tulsa and Los Angeles on June 4.

Tulsa International Airport made the announcement Thursday saying Los Angeles is the 3rd most popular regional destination for Tulsa travelers.

"We are pleased that United has chosen to bring this service back to Tulsa," said Jeff Mulder, Airports Director. "Service to LAX gives Tulsa travelers added flexibility when planning their routes west, including numerous international connections."

The daily service on United Express will feature Canadair regional jet 700's, which seat 66 passengers and have two cabins, six first class and 60 economy seats.

"The travel needs of Tulsans continue to grow along with the development of our business community and our city's growing role as an entertainment venue," said Mayor Kathy Taylor. "United's reinstatement of their non-stop flight to L.A. is proof that Tulsa's energy is heading in the right direction. Let's all work to use and promote this additional flight from Tulsa."

Starting on June 4, the new flights will operate daily leaving at 11:40 a.m. and 5:12 p.m.

Arriving flights will be at 4:41 p.m. and 6:28 p.m.

United currently operates eight other nonstop, daily flights out of Tulsa. Four to Denver and four to Chicago.
