Tulsa Mayor To Kick-Off Re-election Campaign

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa's mayor will be announcing Tuesday evening her intention of seeking re-election.

In a news release, Kathy Taylor says she will make comments "concerning her intentions to seek re-election."

The event is at a gathering at the Jazz Hall of Fame at 111 East 1st Street at 5:30 p.m.

Kathy Taylor is Tulsa's 38th mayor.  She took office in April 2006. 

Before that, Taylor was appointed by Governor Brad Henry in February 2003 to serve as Oklahoma's Secretary of Commerce and Tourism.
