TULSA, OK -- Some potential art drew quite a bit of attention as it traveled from Texas to downtown Tulsa.  A minivan was parked in downtown Tulsa on Friday and on top of it were Army surplus aircraft fuel tanks.

An artist bought them in Texas on Thursday night and then drove to Tulsa on Friday morning.

"It was long, I got stopped along the way, a lot of curiosity, I had a couple of sheriff's departments take an interest in it.  People call in and the cops pull me over and we usually have a discussion, they laugh about it and we go on," said artist Chris Wollard.

Wollard plans to transform the tanks into giant tiki torches for an art show during D-Fest.  The art show, where the fuel tank torches will be featured, opens July 17th at Dwelling Spaces, near 1st and Detroit in downtown Tulsa.
