TULSA, OK -- Police say they've rounded up some of the city's most active home burglars.  They arrested three young men and recovered more than one dozen weapons and flat screen TVs.  However, detectives are frustrated.

Those who live in the 3500 block of Woodrow Place couldn't get to their homes for all of the police cars.  Dozens of officers converged on a house, prompted by a tip that stolen goods were inside.

"Some people saw a group of juveniles or a group of males carrying in a bunch of flat screen televisions and weapons," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Brandon Watkins.

The woman who lives in the house told The News On 6 there were no weapons or stolen TVs in her home.  But, police say they found both in a bedroom in plain sight.  It took several trips to haul out the handguns, rifles, shot guns, and at least four flat screen televisions.

One neighbor who stopped to watch said he just had a flat screen stolen.

"Well, if I wouldn't of stopped, I'd have never knew it. Yeah, I'd be upset if it's down there. Cause I worked too hard for it," said Tulsan Roy Austin.

Tulsa Police took five young men into custody.  And, burglary detectives say it's not the first time.

"We've arrested them multiple times, each time with weapons, each time with flat screens," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Brandon Watkins.

Sgt. Watkins says some of the young men had warrants out for their arrests.  Others are waiting to go to court on other burglary charges.

Police took five people into custody.  But, they only arrested 19-year-old Ronnie Roach and two teenagers for second degree burglary and one count of knowingly concealing stolen property.
