Owasso Man Charged In Traffic Death

OWASSO, OK -- An Owasso man has been charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle in connection with a fatal traffic accident last October.

The Tulsa County DA's office filed the charge Wednesday against 58-year old David G. White.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 26-year old man died following the October 30, 2008 accident on 145th East Avenue and 66th Street North.

OHP troopers say a dump truck driven by White struck a farm tractor driven by Juan Avalos-Rodriguez.

The DA's office also charged White with improper passing in a no passing zone.

The Tulsa County District Court issued a warrant for White's arrest.
