Arrest In Fatal Okmulgee Co. Shooting

OKMULGEE, OK -- Authorities in Okmulgee County are investigating a fatal shooting.

Okmulgee Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a home in the western part of the county early Saturday morning because of a reported domestic situation.

Deputies say a weapon discharged during that situation and Larry Day was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say Brandy Peterson was arrested on a complaint of second degree murder and booked into the Okmulgee County jail. 

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
