Searching For Mannford Grass Fire Arsonist

MANNFORD, OK -- The state Fire Marshal's office is calling a grass and brush fire near Mannford last month that left a volunteer firefighter dead as arson.

Silver City firefighter John Adams, 45, collapsed and died of a heart attack February 20th. He had spent all day fighting a fire near Mannford in Creek County.

Because of Adam's death, the state Fire Marshal's Office is pursuing this case more intently.

If anyone is arrested, they could face a first degree manslaughter charge.
