TU Softball Sweeps Weekly AAC Awards
The University of Tulsa Softball team swept The American Athletic Conference weekly awards as junior Emily Watson was named Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season while sophomore Tori Stafford received the Player of the Week nod for the first time in her career.
Oklahoma Sheriffs Say Removal Of State Inmates From County Jails Will Be Devastating
In order to save money, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections is removing state inmates from 10 county jails across the state. But the Sheriffs in those counties say it will be devastating to their departments. They were at the Capitol on Tuesday, talking to lawmakers about the dire circumstances they are facing without state prisoners and the money they bring in.
Fallin Names Former Gov. Keating to OU Board Of Regents
Former Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating has been appointed to the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents. Gov. Mary Fallin announced Keating's appointment on Tuesday to the seven-member governing body of OU, Cameron University in Lawton and Rogers State University in Claremore.

A new Broadway show has rolled into Tulsa this week, "Motown The Musical" Chester Gregory, who plays Motown founder Berry Gordy and Raymond Davis Jr, who takes on several different big roles stopped by 6 In The Morning to talk about the musical taking place at Tulsa's Performing Arts Center.
