Clayton Cummins joined News 9 in October 2018 as a multimedia journalist and is thrilled to now call Oklahoma home.
Before joining News 9, Clayton was an anchor and reporter at WILX-TV in Lansing, Michigan for over two years covering everything from disgraced former sports doctor Larry Nassar at Michigan State University to tracking down the owner of a flea infested home.
Clayton graduated with a bachelors degree from Central Michigan University majoring in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and minoring in Media Design, Production and Technology. While working towards his degree, Clayton worked freelance reporting at WNEM TV 5 News in Saginaw, Michigan before making his way to West Michigan at FOX 17 News in Grand Rapids.
When he's not working, you’ll find Clayton swimming. He also enjoys trying new foods, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
