Bartlesville Schools Closing Early Childhood Center Ahead Of Schedule

BARTLESVILLE, OK -- Bartlesville Public Schools has decided to close the Will Rogers Early Childhood Center ahead of schedule.

The school district says the plan has always been to close the school and transfer those students to either Ranch Heights Elementary, Wayside Elementary or Wilson Elementary once additions were complete.

But, with a shrinking budget, the school district says it needed to close the early childhood center at the end of this school year to save money on utilities, transportation and building maintenance.

The Early Childhood Center is located on Frank Phillips Boulevard.
