OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man is in custody after a police standoff in northeast Oklahoma City that left one person injured.

A police tactical team went to an apartment building at 215 N.E. 28th Street after witnesses reported hearing shots fired.

Marcus Petty surrendered to police after barricading himself in an apartment for almost five hours. He was arrested on one count of shooting with intent to kill.

A victim was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and was rushed into surgery. Scott Hood remains in critical condition after falling from an upper floor of the apartment.

"They have not found any gunshot wounds. Police have found the trauma he received was from the fall," said OKC Police Capt. Patrick Stewart.

Police interviewed witnesses to determine what started this incident but have only released that it was a disturbance. Witnesses on scene told News 9 they believe it was a family dispute.
