Washington-AP--- Three companies are recalling their battery-powered children's riding vehicles for repair because the toys may pose a safety risk.

The vehicles being recalled in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission are:

_Certain models of Fisher-Price's Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons.

_Empire Industries' "Power Drivers" or "Buddy L."

_Tek Nek Toys' six-volt battery-powered riding vehicles.

Fisher-Price is recalling about 218-thousand battery-powered Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons for repair because the foot pedals that activate the motorcycles can stick in the "on" position.

Empire Industries is recalling about 113-thousand of its "Power Drivers" and "Buddy L" vehicles for repair because the toy's battery chargers can overheat.

Tek Nek Toys is recalling about 294-thousand six-volt battery-powered children's riding vehicles because the charger or wires can overheat.
