TULSA, OK -- Meth making is a growing problem in our area and on Wednesday Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies got an extra lesson to help them on the job.
They spent the day learning how meth is made and what they need to be watching for when they are out in the county. It was continuing education class that is especially important for the younger officers.
"There's volatile chemicals, there's explosion hazards, there's gas problems, you just don't know depending on what type of cook or method they're using what type of danger may be presented to the officer or the public," said Tulsa County Sheriff's Sgt. Rob Lillard.
If you suspect someone is making meth, you can call the Meth Hotline at 592-METH.
