West Corporation To Lose Jobs In October

TULSA, OK -- October 14th is targeted as the last day of work for about 250 employees of the Tulsa branch of West Corporation, a call center management firm.

Employees were informed Wednesday that their jobs will be ending this fall.

A spokesperson for West says the company is ending two programs that directly affect the workers.  West is doing all that it can to minimize the cut back by finding other work for these people within the company, according to the spokesperson.

West Corporation is a communications company with its main offices in Omaha, Nebraska. It provides communications services including teleconferencing to customers in business, education and government.
