Court Case 'Closed' On Tulsa Mother Of Baby Killed By Puppy

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa mother whose 2-month-old baby died after a puppy attacked him has been released from the Tulsa County jail.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Linzy Earles was released from the jail at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Earles had been jailed since August for violating her probation.

Tulsa Police says Earles' son was in a baby swing in July of 2008 when he was attacked by a 12-week-old puppy, all while Earles slept in another room.

Earles turns nineteen on Saturday and a Tulsa judge says there will be no more hearings in the case, because the judge says her juvenile case is officially closed.
