TULSA, OK -- A 44-year-old Tulsa man is dead and two others were injured after a head-on collision Monday afternoon in east Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say the traffic accident happened after 5:00 p.m. near the 18100 block of East Admiral Place.

Officers say David Cacy was driving eastbound on Admiral, when his car went left of the center line and struck a westbound pickup truck head-on.

Cacy was pronounced dead at the scene. A child in his car was taken to a Tulsa hospital. At last word, the child was listed in good condition.

Two people were in the pickup truck and Tulsa Police say one was taken to the hospital with what officers say were non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation into the cause of the fatal accident continues.
