Broken Arrow Fire Victim Dies

A Broken Arrow man rescued from a burning home early Wednesday has died.

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A Broken Arrow man rescued from a burning home early Wednesday has died. 

Broken Arrow Fire says 62-year-old Larry Teel was rescued from a bedroom of a home in the 3700 block of South Sycamore.

Broken Arrow Deputy Fire Chief James Suddath says Teel died at a Tulsa hospital Thursday evening. 

Suddath says the fire started in a couch in the living room of the home.  He says the cause is believed to have been accidental.

Two firefighters injured their backs during the rescue.  Suddath says both are okay.
