TULSA---The children at Henry Zarrow International School were out walking in the cool air today as part of a H.U.G.S. walk. H.U.G.S. stands for hats, undergarments, gloves and socks, the types of clothing they had been collecting for weeks.

‘Thankfully we have a great school here, Zarrow International,' said Terri Hozhabri, Co-Founder of Project Elf, which collects gifts of clothing and supplies for needy schoolchildren, ‘they initiated this wonderful drive for us and collected some of these items.'

Zarrow Principal Robin Postier said the children did a great job and deserve the hugs given to the generous walkers.

‘The children bring items and donate them then we walk,' she said, ‘there are plenty of moms and plenty of staff to give them hugs for that, and it gives them a warm, fuzzy feeling and we tell them not only are their hearts warm but they're making someone else warm as well.'
