Tulsa Motel 6 Fire Prompts Evacuation

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa motel had to be evacuated overnight Tuesday when a fire broke out in one of the rooms. 

The fire happened at about 2 a.m. at the Motel 6 at 11th and Garnett.

Firefighters arrived to find one room on fire. A man staying in the room was treated for burns on his hands. 

Occupants in nearby rooms had to leave while crews worked to get the fire under control.
