TULSA, OK --  A deadly shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex Sunday evening is the second homicide of 2010.

Tulsa Police say the shooting happened at the McKinley Apartments in the 6600 block of East Latimer Place just before 9 p.m.

Police say 44-year-old Jeffery Dewayne Turner was shot several times in the back inside his apartment.

Police officers say witnesses told them a man in a black hooded sweat shirt ran from the apartment after the shooting.

"Possible may have got inside a white vehicle, haven't got the information on what type of vehicle it was, might have been a small white vehicle," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Dedlorn Sanders.

Officers believe the suspect kicked in Turner's apartment door and then shot him several times.

Police say they don't have a motive.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
