Two Superintendent Finalists To Tour Broken Arrow Schools This Week

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The two finalists for the Broken Arrow School Superintendent position will be visiting the school district this week.

The Broken Arrow school board is expected to decide on a new superintendent by early February.

The Assistant Superintendent of the Haysville, Kansas school district, Dr. Diane Gross, will be in town Tuesday and Jarod Mendenhall, Assistant Superintendent for Support Services at Tulsa's Union Public Schools, will tour the district on Thursday.

The contract for current Broken Arrow Superintendent Gary Gerber is through the end of the fiscal year on June 30.

The new superintendent will take office on July 1st.

The Broken Arrow School Board could make their decision at the board's February 8 meeting.
