TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Red Cross has already given $10 million to help the people of Haiti, but that's just a drop in the bucket compared to what it will take to rebuild the devastated country. That's why Red Cross chapters across the country are doing what they can to help out.

To help with relief efforts, Tulsa's Red Cross chapter parked its emergency responsible vehicle at the PAC Saturday. Volunteers served coffee and hot chocolate to people and took donations from those headed to the Tulsa Symphony performance.

"Their immediate needs are shelter, food and water, and the only way to get that to them is going to be able to buy it and ship it to them directly," said Lynn Fisher, Tulsa Red Cross.

For a quick and simple way to help, you can donate $10 to the Red Cross' Haiti relief fund by texting "Haiti" to 90999. The $10 donation will be added to your next phone bill.
