Tulsa Elementary Student Suspended For Bringing Gun To School
TULSA, OK -- An 11-year-old boy is suspended after school officials say he brought a gun to a Tulsa elementary school.
The incident happened at Tulsa's McKinley Elementary School at 6703 East King Street.
School officials found the gun in the student's locker.
They say the boy admitted to bringing the gun but told them he did not intend to hurt anyone.
Tulsa Public Schools says the unidentified student will be suspended for a year.
