Two Injured In Tulsa Head-On Collision

Two people were transported to local hospitals after a head-on collision Friday night in Tulsa.

TULSA, OK -- Two people were transported to the hospital after a head-on collision Friday night in Tulsa.

The accident happened at 25th and Garnett shortly before midnight. On scene reports indicate a pickup driver headed southbound on Garnett crossed the center lane and hit a Chevy Suburban going northbound.

A juvenile passenger in the front seat of the SUV was extricated and transported by EMSA with arm and leg injuries. The driver of the pickup was also taken to a local hospital for general precautions.

Both vehicles sustained severe front end damage. Police say the accident was so sudden that neither driver left brake skids on the road.

The accident is under investigation by Tulsa Police.
