Tulsa Taco Bell Robbed At Gunpoint Early Tuesday

Three gunmen storm a Tulsa fast food restaurant early Tuesday morning, taking cash and fleeing in a car.

TULSA, OK -- Three gunmen stormed into a Tulsa fast food restaurant early Tuesday morning, taking cash and then fleeing the scene. 

Tulsa Police say three gunmen smashed in the door at the Taco Bell at 71st and Riverside at 1 a.m. 

Police say the men pointed guns at three Taco Bell employees inside before taking off with money.

One of the gunman struck the store's manager in the head with a gun, but police say the manager was not seriously injured.

Police say two of the suspects were wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts and the third had a white hooded sweatshirt. 

Shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, police officers recovered the stolen car used in the robbery in the 8900 block of East 74th West Avenue.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
