5 fresh tomatillos, quartered

1 large poblano, seeded and sliced

1 bunch fresh cilantro

1 medium yellow onion, peeled & quartered

3 whole garlic cloves, peeled

5 fresh avocados, peeled & sliced

3 tsps cumin

1 TBS salt

2 fresh jalapenos, seeded & sliced

 

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.  Add water as needed for desired consistency.

*Serve with warm tortilla chips or use on favorite Mexican dishes...

 

Yields ½ gallon (8 cups)
