Tulsa Murderer Sentenced To Prison

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man will spend eight years in prison after pleading guilty to a murder in 2009.

Kevon Silmon was charged with first-degree murder but pleaded to being an accessory after the fact.

He was on trial for the 2009 murder of Kordero Coleman, 15, in the 4300 block of North Elgin. 

During a hearing on Thursday, a Tulsa County District Court judge sentenced him to prison.

Eighteen-year-olg Dominique Jones was charged with first degree murder but pled guilty to a lesser charge of second degree murder.

Coleman was visiting a friend's house when he was shot in the head from across the street.
