Glenpool Traffic Accident Causes Traffic Backup On U.S. 75

GLENPOOL, OK -- Northbound U.S. Highway 75 just south of 121^st Street South was closed for almost an hour Wednesday morning because of a single vehicle accident. 

Glenpool Police are investigating the accident in which the driver of the vehicle was injured. 

The accident caused at least a three mile back up of northbound traffic.

After clearing the wreckage from the highway, police reopened the northbound lanes.  The accident did not impact southbound traffic.  

Tulsa Lifeflight helicopter took the driver to a Tulsa hospital.
