TULSA, OK -- Three students from Walt Disney Elementary School were transported to Tulsa hospitals Friday to be examined after taking a prescription muscle relaxant.

The drug use happened after a young girl handed out the drug to friends, according to Tami Marler, Tulsa Public Schools. The girl was one of the students transported.

EMSA transported three students -- an 11-year-old boy, a 12-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl. EMSA paramedics also assessed five additional patients on scene, but none of those children were transported by ambulance to hospitals.

School officials said they believe the girl got the pills from her parents' medicine cabinet.

"Right now, our main concern is that child's health. We definitely want to figure out where that child is and help that child to ensure that something like this doesn't happen in the future," said Millard L House II, Assistant Superintendent for Elementaries.

There is no word yet on what punishment the child faces.

Walt Disney Elementary is located at 11702 E. 25th Street.
