His van was discovered by ranch hands last Friday in the middle of a field.

The Winfield Police Department in south central Kansas says this case is still a missing person's case, but they now believe they are looking for May's body, now that they have found the van.

The Osage County Sheriff's Office is processing the van.

Winfield Police say they believe the van had been at this location for a while and say foul play has not been ruled out.

Searchers had to use four-wheelers to scour the area around where the van was found.

Winfield Police say Richard May was not found.

Anyone with information about May or about the van is asked to contact the Winfield Police Department at 620-221-5555.
