Two Plead No Contest In Death Of 89-Year-Old Tulsa Man

Two men accused of beating an 89-year-old Tulsa man to death pleaded no contest to second degree murder.

TULSA, OK -- Two men accused of beating an 89-year-old Tulsa man to death pleaded no contest to second degree murder.

On Thursday, Francisco "Frank" Torres, 30, waived a jury and non-jury trial and entered a blind plea of no contest. 

Torres will be sentenced April 27 in connection to the death of Roland Buck. Buck, who lived alone, was found dead inside his home in November of 2008. Police said his hands and feet were bound, he had been beaten, and he had been dead for several days. In addition, Buck's car was stolen from the home.

On Friday, William Kodi Nichols, 26, waived a jury and non-jury trial and entered a blind plea of no contest to second degree murder and a guilty plea to alternatively felony second degree murder and first degree robbery.

Nichols will be sentenced April 28.
