JENKS, OK -- There was a special delivery at Jenks High School Tuesday.

The C-SPAN Civics bus stopped by campus to hand a talented junior a $3,000 check.

Crystal Kayiza won first place in the network's Student Cam competition. She earned top honors for her documentary, "The American Melting Pot, Our Nation's Greatest Strength."

"It's really cool to win and it's really cool to have one of my films recognized, but the process of making it and learning from my films and getting to meet the people in the films and just expanding my knowledge of film in general has been one of the coolest things I've gotten out of this experience," said Kayiza.

Jenks High School was home to four other winners. The students got to tour the bus, which is decked out with a mobile production studio.
