Volunteers Build Bikes For Tulsa Tough Kids

TULSA, OK -- Dozens of children are getting a new ride, thanks to Tulsa volunteers. They spent Thursday evening building bicycles for 70 kids who completed the Tulsa Tough Kids Challenge.

Organizers say it takes a couple hours to assemble all the bikes.

"Actual bike mechanics from the local bicycle shops in Tulsa will come out and go over the bikes one more time just to make sure that everything is adjusted correctly," said Mike Schooling, Tough Kids coordinator.

The kids will get their new bikes later this month.
