Tulsa Armed Robbery Suspect Surrenders After 4 Days On The Run

A Tulsa woman who slipped out of her handcuffs Friday, August 20, 2010 and escaped police custody has been re-arrested.

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Tulsa woman who slipped out of her handcuffs Friday, August 20, 2010 and escaped police custody has been re-arrested.

Tulsa Police had initially arrested 24-year-old Cheetara Venable in connection to a string of armed robberies.

Police say Venable turned herself in to robbery detectives Wednesday morning.

After escaping from custody last Friday, Venable caught a ride with a pizza delivery driver leaving a downtown Tulsa hotel.
