TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A piece of aviation history takes flight in the skies over Green Country. The world's first mass-produced airliner landed in Tulsa Thursday as part of its visit to seven cities in five states.

Built in the late 1920s, this Ford Tri-Motor nicknamed the 'Tin Goose' helped changed the way Americans traveled. The five-state tour gives folks a chance to ride in what's become a flying museum.

"This is a world famous airplane," said Cody Welch of the Experimental Aircraft Association. "It's the airplane that started Eastern Airlines and Cubana Airlines.

"The airplane has a remarkable history. It's the pioneer of all commercial flying," he said.

You can book a flight on the Tin Goose through Sunday. The flights last about 15 minutes and cost $60.
