CATOOSA, OKLAHOMA -- One person is in a Tulsa hospital after a wreck in the eastbound lanes of I-44 about half a mile east of 193rd East Avenue in Rogers County at about 2:20 a.m.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say one of the drivers, 19-year-old Dameon Colley of Glenpool, had been drinking alcohol before the crash.

They say Colley had just passed an eastbound semi tractor trailer when his Mustang went out of control and ran off the right side of the road.

Troopers say Colley's car then re-entered the highway and skidded on the wet pavement in front of the semi, causing the semi to strike Colley's car broadside.

The impact caused the semi to run off the roadway and roll onto its side, spilling its cargo of soda pop onto the shoulder of the highway.

The driver of the truck, 31-year-old Emmanuel Fleming of Tulsa, refused treatment at the scene.  Troopers say he received only minor injuries.
