'Holiday Mail For Heroes' Sending Season's Greetings To Oklahoma Service Members

TULSA, Oklahoma -- You can send one of Oklahoma's own military men and women a special greeting this holiday season.

The Red Cross is asking folks to fill out a card.

They've set up a table at Promenade Mall. All it costs you is a little bit of your time. But, for the service members who receive them, it's a little bit of home.

"Some of them will not get a card at all maybe. This way we can make sure that somebody does get a card." Kenneth Hearrell, Red Cross:

Last year the Red Cross sent out nearly 900 cards. They're hoping to double that this year.

The table is set up at Promenade until 7 p.m. Friday, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
