Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After East Tulsa Wreck

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries after wrecking near 101st East Avenue and Mingo overnight Sunday.

Corporal Jeff Little said the motorcyclist was traveling too fast and lost control of his bike in the corner just before 26th Street at about 1:30 a.m. The bike slid off the road coming to a stop in a yard at the northeast corner of 26th and 101st East Avenue.

The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital in critical condition with head injuries.
