TULSA, Oklahoma -- A group of volunteers gathered to throw a baby shower for Tulsa County Wednesday.

The Home and Community Leadership Group met for a holiday luncheon and to give thousands of dollars of baby supplies to families in need. The group spent months making and gathering gifts for the Tulsa County Emergency Family Shelter.

"We got blankets that have been handmade. We've got children's clothing. One group made 21 pairs of pajamas," said Clara Perkins, Home and Community Leadership Group.

The group gave hundreds of diapers, tons of toys and books too. Wednesday was the 77th year for the luncheon.
