MIAMI, Oklahoma -- Two wrecker services will donate their time and resources to recover the pickup truck in the February 3, 2011 crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says they plan to remove the vehicle from the river on Friday, February 11, 2011 around 10:00 AM.

Bob Garner of Garner's Wrecker Service and Bill Inhofe of Sooner Emergency have agreed to donate their services free of charge in order to relieve the family of the expense of recovery.

The OHP says its dive team will enter the water and secure the vehicle with a cable.

Sooner Emergency will walk a track hoe down to the river and drag the vehicle to the roadway edge. Garner Wrecker will then load the vehicle onto a rollback wrecker and transport to their facility.

"We will have to have a lane closure on the bridge to accommodate the emergency responders and recovery services. This will only be done if the roadway is clear of ice or snow," said OHP Captain Scott Horton.

Horton says the time of the removal could change depending upon the weather.
