Small Brush Fire In West Tulsa Uncovers Working Meth Lab

Tulsa firefighters fighting a small brush fire in a wooded area of west Tulsa discovered a working meth lab and the remnants of two older labs Friday morning.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa firefighters fighting a small brush fire in some woods in west Tulsa discovered a working meth lab and the remnants of two older labs Friday morning. 

Firefighters were dispatched to the area in the 3000 block of West 38th Street at about 7 a.m. after a caller reported the fire. 

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly. 

They say the working meth lab was behind a pile of brush and had apparently caught on fire.

Tulsa Police are investigating.
