TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa police officer stopped two teens who were allegedly on an overnight car burglary spree in a south Tulsa neighborhood.

Police say 18-year-olds Preston Wilson and Chad Zieg admitted to breaking into 12 to 15 vehicles in the area of 5300 South Norfolk Ave.

Tulsa Police say an officer spotted the teens after a call came in about two suspicious men walking in the area.

The two teens were taken into custody after one of the suspects was found hiding in a backyard of a residence after fleeing from police.

Police are contacting victims so they can recover their stolen items.
