TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police say one student suffered a scraped knee when a Tulsa Union school bus was involved in a collision Monday morning in south Tulsa.
Tulsa Police and firefighters were dispatched to the crash at 81st and Yale shortly after 8:30a.m.
Police say the driver of a car turning right on red pulled in front of the school bus causing the bus to strike the car.
The car's driver was not injured, but was ticketed by police. The student with the scraped knee was treated at the scene.
School officials say the eight students on the bus boarded another bus which took them to their school.
